Nick said it's one of the hardest areas to fish...We didn't take him seriously. And there we were, dragging a Jonboat through the Mexican jungle to a lagoon that had sat there in the middle of nowhere.

It was like fishing met weight lifting the in the brutally hot Mexican sun. Each time we lifted, we wondered-- was it worth it? Thankfully, snook and tarpon were waiting for us. But every fish, every cast.. meant we had to earn it. Making this journey worth the fight.
