"Sablo: A Captivating Fly Fishing Adventure Unveiling the Thrills of Tarpon Fishing in Cuba"

Every year, Austrian Helmut Zaderer finds himself drawn back to Cuba for many reasons. Having fished in saltwater worldwide, he considers Jardines de la Reina, a protected marine park on the Cuban Caribbean East Coast, one of the best fishing spots in the world.

Unlike many other locations throughout the world, this area has remained untouched due to its protected conditions from the Cuban government which has kept commercial fishing boats, ships, and tourists alike out of their water, allowing for a truly pristine and unmatched fishing experience.

The healthy corals and abundance of fish make it a paradise for anglers looking to hit the prestigious Grand Slam.

Last May, Zaderer embarked on yet another journey to Jardines de la Reina, this time he brought renowned videographer Vaidas Uselis. Their drive and purpose was to create a unique film showcasing the thrill of tarpon fishing in Cuba's one-of-a-kind fishery.

This area is known for its large schools of tarpon, weighing up to 100 pounds, which can be found on the flats in abundance. In their film, titled "SABALO" (the Cuban name for tarpon), you will witness the nutty world of fly fishing for tarpon in this remarkable location.

I hope you enjoy this movie, and don’t forget to give these boys a follow and like to keep up with there amazing adventures. links below
