Simms Commits to Conservation: Pledges 1% of All E-commerce Sales

Simms Commits to Conservation

Simms Fishing, one of the largest manufacturers in the fishing industry, has launched a new campaign to support small conservation groups that are dedicated to maintaining sustainable fisheries. The company will plan to donate 1% of all e-commerce sales to various non-profit organizations, at no additional cost to the consumer.

A New Platform for Conservation

Simms' donation campaign provides some additional funding to several conservation groups throughout the United States which they hope will make a difference in maintaining local fisheries. The company has also continued ongoing support of Trout Unlimited’s Gallatin Home Rivers Initiative and Montana Freshwater Partner’s Give Back to the Yellowstone efforts.

Consumer Choice at Checkout

Customers shopping on simmsfishing.com can choose to direct 1% of their purchase to one of four campaigns. Each campaign has a fundraising goal, and once achieved, a new campaign from another non-profit organization will take its place.

The initial campaigns include the American Saltwater Guides Association's Albie Project, Captains for Clean Waters' Everglades Restoration Project, the Coastal Cutthroat Coalition's Genetic Analysis, and Trout Unlimited's Driftless Area Restoration Effort.

A Long-Standing Commitment

This new conservation campaign represents an amazing commitment to supporting sustainable fisheries here in the United States. By donating 1% of all e-commerce sales to conservation groups, Simms is not only protecting the future of fishing but also engaging consumers in the process. This move on the company's behalf shows Simms's dedication to stewardship and sets a positive example for the industry and companies in it.
